Greencloak Message Board: The Underestimated: A Roleplay
Here's my POV (finally!), and I'm sorry to say that Anima has to quit this RP. We can just use her as a background character that no one POVs with.
We trudged down the scenic brick path that bordered the trees, searching for a gate in the decorative cast-iron fence that separated it from us.
"So..." Anima ventured, kicking at a thistle-puff. "What're we going to do? Just, you know..."
"No, actually, I don't know," I snapped. "To both questions."
I heard the swish of Sarah's hair as she turned and glared at me. "Just stop, Eva. It's not helping, and I'm getting tired of it."
"Ooh, look, I found the gate!" Alice grinned, unlatching it with a flick of her wrist.
Dark clouds were beginning to drift above us, making the breeze heavy with moisture. I could smell the change in the weather; hot and humid replacing the sweet summer air.
"Illene says it's going to rain," Alice commented, glancing up at the sky. "We'd better get under cover."
We slipped into the forest and closed the gate with a clang that echoed with finality. The leaves rustled in the canopy, and a squirrel chittered and ran down the trunk of an oak and across the path in front of us.
"We need something off the beaten path, where people don't usually go," Sarah said, poking through the brush and disappearing through the bushes.
"Be careful," I called. "There could be bears and tigers and all kinds of scary things in there!"
Her shout came back to us after a moment, "Come here, everyone! This looks cool!"
"Cool isn't the same as useful," I muttered under my breath, but I followed them into the trees.
Sorry it's kind of short; it's to let someone else decide what our campsite-in-the-making will be like.
We walked into a small clearing. Well it was small. Tall trees surround the clearing, dark oak and misty pines. A small creek was behind the tree, as was a pile of rocks. I walked into the clearing, oblivious to the rain.
" This could work," I suggested. I kicked a small pebble. The pebble went behind a tree and it splashed into the creek. Sarah and the others approached.
Sarah stated," It's small but it's better than nothing." Eva clicked her tongue.
" There are plenty of materials here." Eva walked over to a tree with a low branch. She pointed up at it.
Anima exclaimed," Well let's get started." I began to help the others when the rain started. Huh? I looked up. The rain was growing heavier and heavier. I decided to let off a small spark. The jolt of electricity jumped into the air and it crashed into the rain drop. The the jolt grew and grew. The spark went *BOOM*. Everyone jumped around and stared at me.
" What," I wondered.
I have been looking for this :D Can I join and be a main?
I shrugged," Electricity is made from the static electricity that is created when atoms, or electrons, pick up speed. When an abnormal source of electricity, or something, that causes the atoms in water to speed up and release static electricity. This release of static electricity is known as lightning." Everyone dropped their mouths.
" What," I said in my defense. " I have an abnormal intelligence level." Ilene furrowed her eyes. ' Sorry I signed back. I was talking.' So I repeated my answer in sign language.
" Don't do that again," Eva threatened.
I replied," Fine by me."
If it is alright, can I continue for my sister?
No, Wendy/Wintry. My sister just left an hour ago for all-summer camp.
Actually my sister will be able to continue
Actually I meant I can continue
