Talk like a Pirate Day? National Dessert Day? Bad Poetry Day? Who else loves learning about very strange (not to mention highly specific) holidays?
Today happens to be Dictionary Day, the day we set aside to celebrate – you guessed it – the dictionary. I think it’s safe to say that we’re all fans of words (that’s how we read, after all), so I’m asking you to pull out your dictionaries (or pull up the site for one) and participate in the Spirit Animals Dictionary Challenge!
Here's the challenge: take your favorite character and describe them using one word for each letter in their name (think of the characters' names as acronyms!). For example, my answer for Abeke would be:
Here’s the catch – try not to use words that somebody else has already used to describe that character. Have to make it challenging somehow, right? Now go forth and impress us with all the words you know (or, at the very least, the ones you will know after you take this challenge)!
Please tell us why you'd like to report this post
