This morning we launched the latest update to the Spirit Animals game! Here are a list of the new features and fixes that this update contains. Enjoy!
You've been asking for this for a while so I am happy to announce animal armor is now available in the game. There is Generic Animal Armor and Unique Animal Armor. Uniques work just like Unique weapons in that they have a low chance of dropping in quests or appearing in the merchant. Generic Armor drops more regularly. We will be adding new colors of animal armor in the next update.
**LEGENDARY WEAPONS AND ARMOR**
Before this update we had 3 classes of weapons and armor; common, rare and unique. We have now added a new class of item, Legendary, which is better than the rare class. These items have a pink icon and contain SUPER AWESOME WEIRD PERKS which make for some really interesting attacks. Here is a list of all the perks that can be found on these weapons and armor:
Reflective - Enemy ranged attacks have a 50% chance of reflecting off you and striking another enemy.
Spiked - Enemy melee attackers are damaged for 10% of the damage they inflict on you.
Friction Burn - While it motion, leaves a short-lived burning trail that damages enemies on contact.
Rebounding - Enemies that attack you from close range have a 20% chance of being pushed away.
Boost XP - You gain 5% more XP.
Boost Health - You gain 5% to your max health.
Tri-shot - Ranged weapon fires two additional arrows at slightly offset angles, allowing you to hit multiple targets.
Seeker - Ranged attacks have a guaranteed hit!
Spirit Bolt - Ranged weapon fires one or more additional mystical projectiles, which seek enemies other than the one you're targeting and do minor damage.
Synergistic Bond - The target is marked for 3 seconds. A marked target takes 15% extra damage from spirit animals. Targets can only have one mark at a time. Each hit renews the mark.
Symbiotic Bond - When your spirit animal attacks an enemy, you receive a small portion of health.
Cleansing Burst - Animals freed from enslavement expel its evil effects in a small burst that damages nearby enemies.
Undaunting - Weapon does more damage based on how many enemies are attacking you, with 5% more damage done for every enemy after the first.
Unyielding - Weapon does increased damage if your health is low. At 5% health, the weapon does 90% extra damage!
Unrelenting - Weapon damage increases by 10% each time the same enemy is struck, up to a 50% total. The bonus resets to 0% if a different enemy is struck.
**UNIQUE ARMOR SETS!**
Well now that your Animal has fancy new armor, what about your Hero? We have added in Unique Armor sets and I have to say they are really cool looking. There are 4 sets in total and each is made up of 4 individual pieces. Collect all of them to assemble a truly awesome looking set of armor. These are unique items so they have a low chance of dropping in quests or appearing in merchant.
