Greencloak Message Board: Warrior cat story 2!!!
Up. (Because I'm bored)
Thornkit- "Let's play Wildclan! I call being leader! You must call me Thornstar!"
Sharpkit- "Ok, I'm deputy! I'm gonna be Sharpfang!"
Morningkit- "Uh.... can I play? Can I be Morningheat?"
Nightkit- "I want to be called Nightclaw!"
Lunarfrost- "Wait, Sharpkit, tell me what you wanted to be called again?" *Worry on her voice*
"Sharpfang, the most loyalest warrior in WIldclan!"
"No, I'm the most loyalest and bravest cat here!"
"Really? Take this!" *Sharpkit throws himself onto Thronkit, and quickly pins him down* "Give up, and surrender to me!"
"Stop! Sharpkit, get off your brother, all of you, go into the nursery."
"Mom! Why do you destroy our fun?"
"Because I said so, now, go!"
*As she watches her kits stomp into the nursery, a chilling thought comings into her mind*
Why? He turns out like my brother, I wanted to remember him, but it seems Sharpkit is turning into another Sharpfang.
Pumapelt had caught two mice and a shrew, and was drinking in the scent of a squirrel when she caught a whiff of another. Rogue. She tasted the air again. Could it be the same as last time? No, this rogue scent doesn't smell of twolegs and crow-food. Suddenly she picked up the scent much stronger. She unsheathed her claws, and let out a low growl. "Hey Pumapelt? Something wrong?" She heard Flamepaw call from a distance. Pumapelt ignored him and focused on the undergrowth ahead of her. It rustled, and she prepared to pounce as the cat slid out. It was a she-cat, and she just stared at Pumapelt without attacking. The she-cat had a slight build with black, short fur. She had brown eyes and a gray sock on her left front leg. She also had a notch in her ear and a small scar on her right hind leg. Her muzzle was scarred from battle. Pumapelt felt she should attack, but she didn't. The she-cat blinked slowly at her. "Are you a clan cat?" She croaked. Pumapelt was startled by the question. She was surprised the old loner even knew of clan cats. "Yes, and your on our territory. I can escort you off if you like," said Pumapelt, holding her head up. The she-cat's whiskers twitched. "That won't be necessary, I'm looking for someone. Now what's your name?" Asked the old she-cat. At that moment, Flamepaw appeared, followed by Raincloud, Fernpool, Ashpaw, Fangheart and Clawfrost. "I thought I smelled rogue," growled Flamepaw. "What are you doing on our territory?" Spat Fernpool. Pumapelt flicked her tail at them. "Wait," she said. She turned back to the she-cat. "I'm Pumapelt. What's your name? And who are you looking for?" She heard Clawfrost and Fangheart let out faint hisses, but she ignored them. "I'm Brokenwind. I'm looking for my kits, Brokenice and Shatteredsky." This stunned the Wildclan cats into silence. Brokenwind? That's a clan type name! Also, she's Brokenice's mother! Raincloud stepped forward, being the first to recover. "You have come to the right place. We are warriors of Wildclan, and Brokenice is with us. We will take you to our leader," he said, turning and leading the way back to camp. Pumapelt thought she should be the one leading, since she found Brokenwind. Raincloud was the oldest warrior though. Brokenwind followed without argument. When they reached camp, cats began to murmur and shoot Brokenwind hostile glances. There was a gasp from Brokenice just as Risingstar emerged from his den. "Mother!" She ran towards the black she-cat. Brokenwind purred along with her daughter. "Oh! You've grown! But where is your brother?" Asked Brokenwind. Brokenice bowed her head. Brokenwind sighed. "He always was to much like your father," she tilted her head towards the sky, eyes glazed and expression unreadable. Brokenice snapped her head up. "Everyone, this is Brokenwind, my mother," she said. Risingstar padded over. "Welcome, Brokenwind. Being the mother of Brokenice, you are welcomed here," he said. Some cats murmured disagreement. Brokenice silenced them with fierce glares. "How about I make you a nest in the elders den?" Brokenice suggested to her mother. "I'm not that old!" Snapped Brokenwind, fur bristling. "I'm not as old as your father would be now, that's for sure." Brokenice dipped her head. "Of course, mother. I'll make you a nest in the warriors den. Tell me all about Shadowclan," she said, leading her mother away. Pumapelt saw some cats tense at the word "Shadowclan." Pumapelt padded over to Spiderfang. "What's Shadowclan?" She whispered in the old Tom's ear. "Another clan," he rasped, gaze fixed on something only he could see. Confused, Pumapelt backed away. Flamepaw stepped up next to her. "Let's go collect our prey," he murmured in her ear.
Good job, and happy early birthday
Chapter six- New warriors, new apprentices
Blizzardtail dropped his catch of a thin rabbit on the meager fresh-kill pile. One moon had passed since he had first met Lily of the Valley. He visited her when ever he could sneak off on a hunting patrol. An unfamiliar feeling of strong compassion and longing for Lily only grew stronger, though he didn't know what the feeling was. They had lost more warriors, the same way they lost Emberflight. No cat was aloud to go out a lone now. At the last gathering, Cheetahstar still did not announce the case of missing warriors to Risingstar. Sunspirit, had left them and went back to Wildclan. She claimed to want to be with her family, but Spiritclan had their suspicions. Some cats believed she was afraid of being the next cat to disappear. Risingstar had announced the arrival of Brokenice's mother, Brokenwind, otherwise he had no other news to share. Leaf-bare was upon them, and Blizzardtail knew the lack of warriors would soon take its toll on Spiritclan. He found himself doing two or three patrols per day. The missing warriors were Hawkflight, Drizzleheart, and Rabbittail. The only good news was Hollyshine moved into the nursery along with Amberfeather, and Aloebreeze had her kits. Sagekit, Aspenkit, Juniperkit, Sprucekit, and Cascadekit. Cheetahstar leapt hastily onto the high rock and yowled out a summoning. "We need more warriors now, more then ever," she began. "Crystalpaw, Mosspaw, Emberpaw, Oakpaw, and Graypaw. Please step forwards," she said. The apprentices looked startled, but they stepped forward. Blizzardtail had to prick his ears to catch every word as Cheetahstar rushed through their ceremonies. Crystalpaw became Crystalfrost, Mosspaw became Mossfur, Emberpaw Emberlight, Oakpaw Oakwhisker, and Graypaw Grayfeather. "I am also going to make two kits apprentices," Cheetahstar swept on. "Frostkit and Snowkit, step forward," she said. Some cats murmured. There was an excited squeal from the nursery as the two she-kits tumbled out. It was followed by a gasp from Honeydew. "But they're not six moons yet!" She protested. "They will be soon," growled Cheetahstar. Cheetahstar beckoned for Frostkit. The kit gave an excited squeak before tumbling forward. Who would her mentor be? Blizzardtail thought. Thornheart had taken up Poppypaw's mentoring, and Bramblepelt Flashpaw's, since their mentors disappeared. To caught up with his thinking, he missed the first part of the ceremony. "I do," he heard Frostkit squeak. "Then for this moment forward, this kit shall be known as Frostpaw. Blizzardtail, you are ready for your first apprentice," she said. Blizzardtail gave a start. Me? Wow! He stepped forward and touched noses with Frostpaw. Her eyes gleamed with excitement as she touched her nose to his. She stayed by his side as they stepped back into the crowd. Blizzardtail didn't think the day could have gotten better, when Redclaw was given Snowkit as an apprentice! Purring with delight, he shouldered through the crowd to reach his friend. Redclaw touched noses with him. His eyes shined. "Blizzardtail, now that we've gotten apprentices, we're real warriors!"
Good job on the story
Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you,
happy birthday dear Hannah, happy birthday to you!
When are Creekit, Wildkit, and Acornkit going to become apprentices? They should be reaching six moons around now...
Pumapelt was sharing a piece of leaf-bare fresh-kill with Flamepaw. Last gathering, Spiritclan had been quieter and anxious looking. She had asked Blizzardtail if something was going on, but he wouldn't tell her. Brokenwind was fitting in great, and Brokenice was really glad to have her back. Pumapelt's paws tingled with excitement. Today, Wildkit, Creekkit, and Acornkit were being apprenticed, and Risingstar had asked her to mentor Wildkit! Pumapelt was very found of the curious energetic kit, and couldn't wait to mentor her. Fernpool and Owltalon were mentoring the others. Pumapelt was surprised that the youngest warriors were getting apprentices. Pumapelt shivered, as a leaf-bare breeze ruffled her fur. Flamepaw moved closer to her. Despite how happy she was to get an apprentice, she was happy for Flamepaw to. Next moon, Flamepaw and his littermates would be having their warrior assessments. She was overjoyed for her friend. Sparkpaw and Cinderpaw still sent her death glares, and she wasn't sure why. They almost never replied if she said something unless they had to. Pumapelt tried not to let it bother her, for arguments inside the clan were never a good thing. There was one thing that discouraged her. Yesterday, Pumapelt heard Bearpaw talking about wanting to be leader. She thought it wasn't harmful, then she heard him talking about wanting to rule both clans. He had been talking to Snakepaw, Badgerpaw, and Racconpaw. They hadn't liked the idea, so Pumapelt hoped Bearpaw forgot it, but she wasn't sure. A shiver passed through her as she remembered.
"All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather beneath high ledge for a clan meeting!" Yowled Risingstar. Pumapelt and Flamepaw stood up, and padded over to high ledge. "We have three apprentices to make," he said, eyes shining. With a squeal, Wildkit, Creekkit, and Acornkit scrambled away from their mother's tongue. Risingstar beckoned to Wildkit, as Lunarfrost padded over to Stormrunner and watched her kits proudly. Wildkit scrambled forward, trembling with excitement. "From this moment forward, Wildkit will be known as Wildpaw. Pumapelt, you are ready for your first apprentice," he said. Pumapelt didn't even have to take one paw step- Wildkit came racing over to her. Pumapelt bent her head as the kit stretched up to touch noses with her. Next, Risingstar beckoned for Creekkit. The little tom strutted forward. "From this moment forward, Creekkit will be known as Creekpaw. Owltalon, you are ready for your first apprentice." Owltalon's pelt shined from all the grooming, and he held his head high as he strutted up to Creekpaw. He was acting as if it was his ceremony, not Creekpaw's. Pumapelt snorted. Arrogant furball. Lastly, Risingstar beckoned for Acornkit. "From this moment forward, Acornkit shall be known as Acornpaw. Fernpool, you are ready for your first apprentice," Risingstar finished. Acornpaw and Fernpool touched noses, and Pumapelt watched her friend's eyes gleam. Pumapelt expected the clan to start cheering, but instead they began to mutter. "Why did Risingstar pick the youngest warriors?" They muttered. Risingstar glared at them. The apprentice's ears and tails started to droop. Pumapelt glanced at Wildpaw, who was staring defiantly at the crowd, eyes narrowed. "Wildpaw! Creekpaw! Acornpaw!" The clan turned at the voice. It was Flamepaw. "Wildpaw! Creekpaw! Acornpaw!" Pumapelt added her voice, along with Fernpool and Owltalon. They were followed by Ashpaw, Wolffrost, Rosepetal, Silvershine, Blossomheart, Mistpaw, and Mountainpaw. Soon the entire clan was cheering. Risingstar nodded his approval, then leaped off of high ledge. Cats purred and pressed around the new apprentices. Pumapelt stepped back to give them some space.
Mistpaw bounced over to Creekpaw. "Hey! Congratulations! Maybe our mentors will let us train tomorrow," she said. Creekpaw just stared at her. Mountainpaw padded over to Acornpaw. "Here, I'll help you find a nest," she said, leading her away. Pumapelt turned to Wildpaw, but the apprentice was already speaking. "Can we go training now? Or explore the territory?" She asked. Pumapelt shook her head. "No, it's getting late. You go find a nest." Wildpaw lashed her tail. "What? Do I have to?" She asked. "Yes, you have to," Pumapelt said with a hint of a growl. Wildpaw rolled her eyes dramatically. "Fine, but we better do something tomorrow," she said, before stalking away. Pumapelt stared after her apprentice, appalled by her attitude. If this keeps up, the only thing she will be doing is checking the elders for ticks! Pumapelt just realized she had the power to do that. Hissing, she turned, and came face-to-face with Flamepaw. "You good?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. Pumapelt sighed. "Yeah, I'm just going to go get some rest," she turned and padded towards the warriors den.

OK, thanks @Tigris
Could I still join? I know @Faith, and me and her have read all of the warriors, surrviors, and seekers books.
(If I can join, could I be a rouge that wanders unto Wildclan please?) @Faith never stops talking about this, so i'd like to see it myself also.
Nice job on the chapters!
Beechpaw can't come back yet, because he will come back two moons after Creekpaw's future kits are born. Those kits will be born a year or two after Creekpaw becomes a warrior.
Also, the emotions that Mistpaw and Mountainpaw showed to the new apprentices were flipped. I like that you didn't have Mountainpaw interact with Creekpaw that very night, but the calmness she showed is a trait of the grieving Mistpaw, and the excitement that Mistpaw showed to the new apprentices is 100% an emotion that Mountainpaw would have.
The only reason I corrected you was for the sake of the story, so please don't be upset about it.
Ok, though it would make more sense if Mistpaw was excited for the love triangle thing that happens. It would just be more intresting, instead of two toms trailing after a she-cat who never speaks to them. Though looking back at the character form I do see I switched them up. (The consequences of writing late at night.)
I would prefer you be a kit, because the two clans are having trouble with rogues so if you were let in it wouldn't exactly make sense
Blizzardtail woke up after dawn. Wow, late on my first day of being a mentor. But when he stepped outside, something was different. He parted his jaws and breathed in a scent. It was faint, but it was an acrid smell of crow food and twolegs. Blizzardtail shook his head, then concentrated on his surroundings. Warriors and apprentices were crowded around Cheetahstar, murmuring and whispering fiercely. Redclaw was among them, so he padded over to him. "What's going on?" He asked. "The dawn patrol was attacked by rogues. Blackbird, Mossfur, Whitefang and Grasspaw were on it. They took Grasspaw," he said. Blizzardtail gasped. So this is what is happening to our warriors! He noticed Whitefang, Blackbird and Mossfur standing by Cheetahstar. They were all bloody and scratched up. Cloverface was tending to them as quickly as she could. "What are we going to do?" Wailed Honeydew. "I think we should send a patrol and try and track them," suggested Featherlake. "You don't get to make suggestions, Half-clan," snapped Wolfbite. Featherlake's fur began to bristle. "Yeah, just because he's a senior warrior doesn't mean he gets to boss us around," growled Stormcloud. "Hey!" Snapped Aloebreeze. "Cats, this isn't going to help!" Began Willowtail desperately. "Go back to Wildclan," snarled Stormcloud. "Like Sunspirit." "Maybe Sunspirit had the right idea!" Yowled Sootfoot. "Silence!" A fierce yowl from Cheetahstar silenced them all. "We will send out a patrol to try to track them. Whitefang, if your well enough I want you to go," she said. "From now on, we must leave in bigger groups. We will only leave to hunt, and the camp must never be left unguarded," she said. "But what will Wildclan think-" began someone. "Are you questioning my orders?" Cheetahstar roared. "You will do what I say!" She yowled, before stalking away. The clan stared at her, to shocked to speak. Blizzardtail closed his eyes. Oh, what's become of Spiritclan?
It's ok that you flipped them this once, but please don't do that again.
Mistpaw is still grieving for Beechpaw, and is too depressed and sad to be excited about anything. Beechpaw's 'death' was a hard blow on her, and it left her character in a shadow of its self. Only Beechpaw can completely cure it, but one of Creekpaw's future kits will bring her out of her shadow a little bit.
If you want, I think it would be a really good idea for Wildpaw to be excited about it. (That sounds just like her personality.)
Thanks for having Pumapelt mentor Wildpaw! Once again, Wildpaw is going to bring laughs into the story! don't forget, Wildpaw is a bit of an optomist.
I was wondering what the personalities of Creekpaw and Acornpaw's mentors are like. Could you let me know?
Are @Topaz's kits older than my kits? I could be wrong though.
Yes, older by one moon
Can you Please, just let me write my story!!! Fernpool's and Owltalon's personalities were definitely hinted throughout the story. Owltalon is arrogant and bossy while Fernpool is chill about things but sometimes anxious
My tablet won't let me colored text
Thornkit- I wanna be an apprentice now! They have all the fun jobs!
Sharpkit- Ya, Mama, can't we be apprenticed soon?
Lunarfrost- In a moon, dear
Sharpkit- Well, a moon better pass soon! Can't wait to explore the territory! And meet other cats from the other clan!
Morningkit- What about me and Nightkit? Wildpaw says that its fun to be an apprentice, anand me and Nightkit want to have fun too!
Lunarfrost- How about this, when your father gets back, he can tell you about being a warrior
Sharpkit- While we wait..... *pounces on Nightkit*
@Tigris, i'm a little curious, but what is going to be Nightkit's warrior name?
I have been deciding between Nightsky and Nightshade, and I've settled on Nightsky because I feel Nightshade sounds more like a she-cat name. (Also, Nightshade is a plant, deadly Nightshade)
Can Dare's mate be Sapphire (Leaf's daughter) since they're both rogues? It will help introduce Tar, Dare, and May to the story faster, but if not it's ok.
OK! Thanks for letting me know!
Also, last question, when will Gray Feather's kits be born? (My tablet was making me mad, it would not let me type them together)
Can't wait to read more!
