Xian and Lucy had stayed behind, while the others and I were getting ready. Shadow growled, then rubbed against my hand. "I know Shadow." I said looking down. "I wanna help too. But we have to let Xian do this." Austin jogged up to where I was. "So? When do you wanna go on a date?" He asked. I stopped, shocked at how calmly he had asked me. The last time we had a date was the secret one we had in the forest when we lived in the small cave. "You serious?" I asked. He turned toward me, a smirk rested on his lips. "What's the matter Evelin? You nervous?" He asked me. My cheeks heated up a bit. "No." I said. Shadow had a fanged grin, her eyes showed amusement. "It's just we haven't gone on one since the secret one in the forest. We've been too busy." Austin chuckled slightly, before reaching towards me and grabbing my hand. Then he tapped on it, sending me a message. Meet me at the river. I'll leave a note. I turned his hand, tapping my message. As soon as the plan is fulfilled, I'll see you at the river. He smiled, glad that I had said yes. I jumped slightly when I felt someone ruffle my hair. "Wow. You know I know the code too, right? Don't worry, I'll keep the secret, little sister." My brother said. I smirked as well. "You better, kitty-cat." I said and pulled his tail. He yowled. "Stop that!" He growled. I immediately grabbed bot their hands, running to the others. Shadow suddenly stopped. So did Might. My hearing increased causing me to be able to hear a fight happening. It was in the direction of Xian. "I know it wasn't part of the plan, but I have to help." I said, about to take off, but my arm was grabbed by my brother. "Stay here Evelin. I'll go. You got that?" He asked. I nodded, too dumbfounded to protest. All I did was watch him run in the direction of the fight.
