For a while, SAMBers have known that the autocorrect on the SAMB contains swears, doesn't have British spellings, rejects numbers and claims poutine is not a word. Heck, the autocorrect doesn't know autocorrect is a word. I have tested out the swear words with every single swear I knew (quite a lot, due to almost being in high school, unfortunatley,) and all of them have appeared. Everyone knows that young kids do come on this site, possibly as young as age 9 or 10, and it is not good to have swears in the autocorrect on a site young kids go on.
Another thing that annoys me is that the autocorrect has none of the British spellings of certain words. (color vs. colour, honor vs. honour, glamor vs. glamour) I was born, raised and reside in Canada, where do use British spelling, and I know many other SAMBers are British and Canadian.
One of the most confusing things about the autocorrect is that it doesn't include numbers? I have no idea why the autocorrect does this, but it's annoying to see a red line under 26 or 32.
Finally, the topic that offends me most is that the autocorrect doesn't recognize poutine as a word. For all of the non-Canadians unclear of what poutine is, poutine is a Canadian dish composed of primarily French fries, hot gravy and cheese curds and occasionally may included other ingreditants, such as meats. It is a classic Canadian dish and half of my life and childhood, so it'd be amazing for the auto correct to understand poutine is a real word.
In conclusion, there are several thing I would like changed about the autocorrect. I would greatly appreciate if the mods would take this into consideration
