Right... um... it hasn't been a week yet but I'll PoV. It's looking a little empty.
I raced through the forest in my wolf form, hoping to reach the Haven before the other Federals.
No luck. The fighting had already broken out when we (Xavier and I) got there.
Elias was facing three workers at once- Zack, Ellis, and Areina. I changed back and sent a few ghosts his way to hold his attackers down.
Raven was hiding in the shadows of a building, muttering spells under his breath. Liam found him and began mercilessly slashing at the younger boy's throat. More ghosts.
Ryuu was trying to fight against Alex. Medical against medical. Unfortunately, Alex was better and quickly got the upper hand in the fight. More ghosts.
Luca looked like he was going to pass out from exhaustion while fighting against five workers, all at least twice his age. Yes, more ghosts.
Finally I got sick of sending ghosts to individual Haveners and summoned several dozen to find a Havener to help. Then I glanced at Xavier and dove in to help.
After several minutes of fighting, Xavier and I had been spotted by the Haveners. One of them howled, drawing Elias's attention. He stalked closer, his teeth bared.
"You said things would be different," he snarled at Xavier. "You said that you wouldn't attack."
The fur at the back of my neck rose. How dare he... "It's not his fault!" I yelped.
"And you brought your traitorous girlfriend too," Elias continued.
"Look, Elias," I growled, trying to stay calm. "I know Kaia is gone and she was the calm, collected half of the leadership of the Haven, but this is unacceptable. Did you miss the fact that we were helping you?"
I felt Xavier's breath in my ear. "Not now," he hissed.
Elias barked at his pack to retreat some distance. "It's Alpha against Alphas," he growled. "What do you want?"
I changed back to human. It was dumb- I was surrounded by wolves who wouldn't hesitate to attack if Elias gave the word. "Peace," I said. "We didn't order this attack, Elias. All but two of our workers went behind our backs and formulated an attack. We came as soon as we realized to help you! Why can't you understand that?"
Elias changed back too. "When's the last time an Alpha told the truth to us?"
"Now," I snapped. "Are you so stubborn you can't see the truth?"
Raven slipped up behind Elias. "With all due respect, sir..."
"What?!" Elias asked, annoyed.
