There was a huge city. The city, three hundred years ago, was owned by a witch. Everyday, she would feed poison to the people by spreading it in the air. The people who dared to breathe became sick and died. The people who dared not to breathe simply died.
But the people who didn't die from breathing survived. They scattered everywhere across the globe, hoping to escape what once was their worst nightmare...but was developed into their biggest strength.
These people were named Founders of Magic. Their ancestors, whom have inherited the magic, were named Magicians.
But a new age has begun: The Age of Nercus, a civilization fifty light years away.
And humans are paranoid. It's in their nature. They begin to amass the Magicians and create an army. They make a universal law stating it as mandatory for any Magician to join.
You are a Magician. You join the army willingly, but you soon find things you would rather keep to yourself.
Basically: The world government fears a war between the civilization of Nercus and Earth, so they are training you to use your magic to protect Earth from an attack. The location of this roleplay begins in an institution, or "The School", which is situated in the middle of nowhere (also known as Yukon, Canada)(I recommend you search where that is, if you don't know already). Teachers are also Magicians. You have recently been recruited, and therefore, you are between the ages of thirteen and fifteen. You will take classes not only for your physical abilities, but for your mental abilities, too. However, throughout the story, you'll discover secrets about the government and its relationship with Nercus.
-No Mary/Gary Sues
-No perfect angels, personality and everything else
-No OP characters
-No making dramatic changes to others’ characters without their permission (example: killing off their character, making them get into a fight, ect.)
-When making others’ characters talk and act, please keep in mind that they have a personality of their own, which brings me to my next point
-Please read all of the accepted forms, no matter if it's yours or not
-WRITE IN THIRD PERSON AND PAST TENSE. This is for the story it might turn into.
-When choosing your TWO magical powers, keep in mind not to make the power OP. Stealing other people's powers, controlling others, controlling minds, reading minds completely, and controlling time are not allowed as powers. Shapeshifting is allowed IF and ONLY IF you can shapeshift into ONE other form.
-You may have a maximum of three characters
-Try to even out the genders (although I'm sure this won't happen)
-If you've read this far, put "salt" in the "bae" section
-MAKE YOUR FORMS VERY DETAILED. I will not accept someone who's description is only "brown hair, brown eyes, tall". This applies especially towards the personality and the appearance sections. Heck, you can even say the number of hairs on your character's head. (Don't do that.)
-Remove all parentheses in the form
-Anything marked with a * is optional
-This is unlimited, in case some of you somehow didn't read the title
-Arguing within the POVs is not only allowed, but encouraged, so please do not be over-sensitive at the things people say, as they are to your characters, not you
-Arguing outside of the POVs is your choice, because I have a bowl of popcorn ready
-Shipping within the POVs is very encouraged, so long as both characters’ owners are comfortable with it
-Shipping outside of the POVs is spectacular, and I will make sure to plan a wedding
-Again, reading this far, put "because everything else sucks" next to "salt"
