- The Magic of Mithweald -
A Prequel to Wolves of Mithweald
There are two types (or rather three) of wolves. The light wolves who have all white pelts and light colored eyes, and the dark wolves, who have all black pelts and dark colored eyes. They balance each other out, one is not stronger than the other. The light wolves have and practice light magic, while the dark wolves have and practice dark magic. They live in a mythical world called Mithweald. In order to use their magic or powers they have to use magical energies, called Mana. Mana is most abundant in wild places, and while Mithweald is a magical place full of Mana, Mana cannot replenish itself. Many wolves have tried this and failed, all the while Mana is being used up. There are several places where there is no mana at all. These are no-magic zones. No wolf can use their powers or magic because there isn’t any magical energies to draw upon. While there are still places full of Mana they are becoming increasing difficult and harder to find. As the wolves have to travel farther and search harder for Mana places it is rising tensions between the light wolves and the dark wolves.
Historically, the first light and dark wolves were a brother and a sister. Lenore was the lightwolf and a sister to her brother, Tynan the dark wolf. They were the closest until one day Tynan (Or Lenore depending on who is telling it and what tale) betrayed Lenore on a hunt. They were hunting as it goes together and Lenore got her paw caught in a bear trap. Exhausted, she was not able to use her magic to free herself. She pleaded to Tynan for help but instead he left her and went on. Lenore eventually freed herself but held a grudge against her brother. Lenore repaid him for his behavior but instead of ending, Tynan fought back. They fought constantly and one day they were locked in a struggle for twelve days and twelve nights until they both died from exhaustion. From their corpse's rose light wolves and dark wolves. Lenore and Tynan became Yin and Yang who, are in an eternal struggle but balance each other out, as one cannot defeat the other.
light wolves and dark wolves have stereotypes about them. Since Lenore allegedly never betrayed Tynan, light wolves are held as trustworthy, noble and pure creatures while dark wolves are held as Backstabbing, cheating, deceiving and power hungry. This held dire consequences, as a light wolf known by Snakan rose to power and was an evil power hungry tyrant. He used light wolves’ reputations to his advantage and dictated with an iron paw. He held no discrimination between light wolves or dark wolves. This lead to a rebellion lead by a famous grey wolf, called Aaron rallied both light wolves and dark wolves together and successfully overthrew Snakan. After Aaron’s death though the light and the dark wolves alliance quickly fell apart.
Dark Wolves: dark wolves are wolves with black fur and dark colored eyes. They come from Tynan, the first dark wolf, younger brother to Lenore. dark wolves have ‘dark magic/powers’ which include but aren’t limited too: Shadow manipulation, shadow teleportation, grow bat wings, fly, create darkness, create portals, heal themselves via taking energy from others, telekinesis, control lunar aspects, and many other powers associated with darkness/night/shadows. They are stereotyped as untrustworthy, sly, manipulative, sneaky, and ambitious and power hungry. They are also loyal and courageous to friends. The most common type of wolf, along with light wolves.
Light Wolves: light wolves are wolves with white fur with light colored eyes. They come from Lenore, the first light wolf, older sister of Tynan. light wolves have ‘light magic/powers’ which include but aren’t limited too: Light manipulation, light teleportation, grow angel wings, fly, create light, create portals, heal others via using energy from themselves, telepathy, mind reading, illusions, control diurnal aspects, and many other powers associated with light/healing/day. They are stereotyped as trustworthy, kind, noble, upright, giving and cooperative. They also are known to be harsh and judgmental of others. The most common type of wolf, along with dark wolves.
Grey Wolves: Grey wolves are wolves with grey pelts and one eye of lighter color and one eye of darker color. They are the offspring of one light wolf and one dark wolf mating. They are equally light and dark wolf. Due to this, both cancel each other out, leaving grey wolves with no powers at all. Because grey wolves have no powers they adapt to changes easier and tend to be fitter in mind and body compared to light and dark wolves. Having a paw in both worlds, grey wolves tends to be diplomats between light and dark wolves and can see eye to eye on both levels. Many grey wolves and their parents are cast out of the packs they are born in and as a result most have no pack. Some join the Tribe but others find that too extreme and simply become loners. Most light wolves and dark wolves disapprove of light and dark wolves mating and sometimes take it out on grey wolves, leading them to join the Tribe . Others are cast out simply because they have no powers and packs view them more as a hindrance. Grey wolves stereotyped as jealous, snotty, diplomatic, disrespectful, and innovative Grey wolves are in the middle, there is neither few nor many of them.
Mixed Wolves: Mixed wolves are a combination of light and dark, many have more of either color than the other. Some have light colored eyes, dark colored or both depending on their ancestry. Mixed wolves can be simply stunning to look at. Mixed wolves are the offspring of a grey wolf and either a light wolf or a dark wolf. If they are born from the mating of a light wolf and a grey wolf they will have more of a white pelt and more of a chance of having light colored eyes but a combination is possible. They are better and have more light magic/power than dark magic. Mixed wolves born from the mating of a dark wolf and a grey wolf usually have more of a black pelt and more of a chance of having darker colored eyes but a combination is possible. They are also better and have more dark magic/power than light magic. Sometimes they will join one of their parent’s struggles or simply go their own way. While somewhat powerful they are often teased on in packs for their impure heritage. They are the rarest type of wolf.
Packs, Tribes and territorial boundaries
There are two important packs that dominate most of Mithweald. Gwyr’s pack for all the light wolves. And then there's Alhwin’s pack for all the dark wolves. Then there is a grey wolf Tribe which during the past decade has been gaining popularity. Lastly, there is one notable resistance movement with wolves of all different types against Gwyr’s pack and Alhwin’s pack.
The Hollow Claws
The all dark wolf pack, with the notable exception of several grey wolf omegas, is one of the most powerful and most successive packs of all time. Alhwin III, or more commonly known as just Alhwin, took control of the pack at eight years of age. His mother, Zelda, had been notorious for leading bad strategic moves against the Silver Fire pack, which currently has the edge. Alhwin III took control and dethroned his mother from leadership. Alhwin was left with rebuilding a now broken pack to its previous glory. Alhwin achieves this with strict laws and dictator-like leadership. He listens to his betas, which provide him with advice but can be foolhardy and careless. Basic pack concepts are that you are born with your rank and only in rare circumstances can you advance in it. Wolves cant mate any wolf more than one rank higher or one rank lower than they are. In this case, the wolf's pups are the rank of their father's ranking, e.x: a female gamma and a male delta mate and have pups. The pups automatically assume the ranking of their father's rank, making them deltas. It usually doesn't matter as it is only a one rank difference but if a gamma and an omega got together, the rank would be viewed very differently. This is why most wolves favor higher ranking male wolves as mates for a better ranking for their pups.
Omega males rarely get mates because the pups would inherit that ranking. Females across all ranks choose their mates, not the other way around. The Hollow Claws also criticize light and dark wolf pairings as the pups would be grey wolves. (Also because light wolves are The Hollow Claw's biggest rival) The parents and the pup(s) would be exiled from both packs and not welcomed back if they are found out. Though as a rule in the grey wolves’ defense, that if the parents can secretly raise their pups without being caught for a whole year and a day, the pup will have to be accepted as a full pack member and their parents excused. This happens rarely because there are specialized wolves that seek out and catch grey wolf pups in packs. (Much like the Obeas in Wolves of the Beyond) the grey wolf pups are in the pack they are born in, for example; if the mother is a dark wolf then the wolf pups are in The Hollow Claws, If their mother was a light wolf then they are in The Silver Fire Pack. They are the same rank as their fathers and are expected to be treated no different than other dark/light wolves.
Ranks of The Hollow Claws(In order):
Alpha(ess): Only two alphas, one alpha and one alphaess in a pack, they lead the pack. They have ultimate control of the pack.
Beta(ess): There are four female betaess and three male betas, they are mated to each other. Give advice and are the Alpha(ess)’s right hand man
Sentinel: There are four in the pack, two mated pairs. They are specially chosen by the betas and the alpha and trained from as soon as they reach adulthood. While they aren’t authority they are respected, for deifying them is defying the alpha and betas. They are trained to take the betas and alphas place in case something was to happen.
Elder: They are full of wisdom and highly respected. Alpha may come to them for advice. They are the only rank the alphas have to show ‘respect’ to in the case of submission. The elders are highly respected in the pack.
Assassin: They are the spies and the assassins of the pack. There are at least twenty of them. They have to train and work undercover. They infiltrate the Silver Fire pack and try to assassinate the alpha and foil plans all the while blaming it on others of the pack. They do the dirty work of The Hollow Claws, who neither acknowledge nor deny the rank.
Lead Warrior: There are four lead warriors who act like generals when leading wolves into battle and oversee the training. They take orders directly from the Alphas and the betas.
Warriors: There are hundreds of warriors who train (almost 95% of all dark wolves live in this pack which there are allot!) and battle under the lead warriors. They train for hostile combat situations. They are quick to make assumptions. They can stay calm in any combat situation.
Lead Hunter(ess): They lead the hunts, there are five of them. They are the best at hunting and have great experience or recognition that sets them distinguishes them from other hunters.
Hunters: There are hundreds of hunters. They have to be quick on their feet and minds. They have to make decisions in split seconds and follow nonverbal ques well. There are hunters in every pack but these are main hunters.
Lead Scouts: The lead scouts lead patrols over the pack territory as well as surveying new land that might be suitable for pack inhabitation. Scouts will also eat and catch small prey for the pack. They are good about being stealthy and know directions and geological information. Like with the lead hunters and warriors they possess great experience, there are six known lead scouts in the pack.
Scout: Same as Lead scout pretty much, except they take orders from the Lead Scouts. There are at least fifty scouts in the pack.
Pup Watchers: There are twelve pup watchers that watch the pups when the mother or other form of parent is away. They can be very fierce when protecting pups and would give their lives to protect the nursery under an attack.
Subordinates: These wolves are mostly newcomers or both parents were subordinates themselves. They participate in fights and hunts but aren’t trained and most do a variety of jobs. This rank is always large as it is also full of wolves that haven’t been assigned a rank, have been mildly demoted or haven’t shown any exceptional skill in any rank.
Omegas: Omegas are wolves who have shown defiance or been disrespectful to the alphas or betas. Also wolves who have been discovered to have infiltrated or shown any spy history are often held captive and held as hostages for spying are at the Omega ranking and get shown no respect. They are often the subjected to random acts of violence against them. The most common reason is that there are no laws protecting Omegas. They do actually dirty work, they cleaned out dens and eat last (The order in which every wolf eats is in this same order) they often scavenge and sleep in the draftiest and coldest parts of the den. The Hollow Claws show a bit more mercy than the Silver Fire pack with mating though wolves of omega ranking can only mate with other omegas. The Silver Fire takes away the privilege to mate for omegas. Omegas also could have just been offspring of two omega wolves and will also have to suffer for the crimes of their parents.
Pups: Newly born additions to the pack. Wolves are considered newborns at birth and at twelve weeks they are considered teenagers. At 1 ½ years they are considered young adults and are independent of their parent’s care and are now fully ranked individuals. At around three years of age they are considered adults and around fifteen years old they are considered an elder and around twenty is when a wolf dies of old age.
While The Hollow Claws used to be a traditional pack, times have changed and so have notable customs. The ranking names, while ranks are still identical have been changed for wolves to understand better. The Hollow Claws still use the age old caste system way of ranking but have expanded it more so that females can have a mate who is either one rank higher or one rank lower (or more favorably the same rank) than she. Females choose their mates, not the other way around. This has been included because of an uproar of protest concerning the females in the pack. It is considered rude for a male wolf to come up to a female and ask to be mates. By law, no wolf can force a female wolf to mate and/or mate someone she doesn’t want to. Since the pups inherit the ranking of the males, female wolves tend to choose males who’s ranks are the same or higher than her own. Females are also responsible with caring for their pups for three weeks, at six they can leave to do their roles part-time and in the care of pup sitters. By twelve weeks the pups are considered teenagers and are trained to fulfill their rank.
Females and males can achieve the same ranking. No rank is disclosed for male or female wolves only. Wolves are expected to adhere and be submissive to any wolf higher than ranking than they are in their pack. If there is no mother to care for the pups or she has been deemed unworthy of raising her own pups, the pups instead will be raised by another female member or the father if the pups are old enough. At the end of each day all pack members will howl, it starts with the alpha and then according to rank the other join in and howl along. Not only will this proclaim their territory is strengthens bonds between all pack members (Much like in Survivors) Alphas and betas get their own den while the lead warriors and warriors sleep in one den, lead hunters and hunters sleep in a den and the omegas sleep outside in no den. The Pup watchers sleep in the nursery den along with the nursing wolves and pups. Assassins, scouts and lead scouts don’t have a public den. They have private dens in undisclosed places. The dens of scouts and assassins aren’t used very often because for the most part because they are often outside of pack territory. Subordinates fill in any room left in any den. If there is none they sleep outside. The subordinates don’t have an official den and may sleep in one den one night and then a different one the next.
Challenges for ranking aren’t rare but aren’t common place either. There aren’t any rules for challenging for ranking, though there are three modes of challenges. There is the challenge of will, which includes a stare down between the challenger and the one he wishes to challenge. Most of the time, the challenger will look away from the intense gaze but if he/she succeeds then the one challenged will be asked if he/she wants to continue. If he/she replies yes than they will move on to the challenge of the mind. If he/she says no than he/she has forfeited his/her rank and becomes the rank the challenger was while the challenger becomes the rank the challenged was.
The challenge of the mind is a test of concentration and magic using. The two have a magic duel where each one shows off his/her’s powers in hopes to sway the crowd. Often the one the longest stamina and the one who can do it the longest will win. Once one wolf collapses from exhaustion, it usually stops there and the wolf either forfeits or yields his/her rank or the challenger will go back to being his/her rank without success. There is one last challenge, but things rarely ever go that far.
For high ranks such as Alpha and Beta, challenges are likely to go this far. Though the whole likeliness of someone challenging the beta or alpha is very small as it can cause a great shift in the pack. As well if the challenger doesn't succeed they will get exiled or in extreme cases, killed. The challenge of Strength is a duel where both wolves spar. Magic is forbidden and if found out that either side has used magic they will be disgraced and disqualified and the other side automatically wins. The terms of the match are brutally simple, knock the wolf out or pin her/him down. In the case of the latter, the wolf will ask if he/she wishes to take an honorable surrender. If the wolf refuses the offer than the other choice is death. If they don’t ask to surrender and kill the other wolf, that wolf will get killed and either the sentinel or betas will take over leadership. (If the alpha kills the challenger, the alpha is demoted and/or killed; if the challenger kills the alpha the challenger is killed) If the challenger wins then the challenger can decide what to do with the previous alpha, beta etc.
The Hollow Claws live in the southern reaches in large plain areas. They hunt buffalo, pronghorn, and other plains big game. There are several notable landmarks but for the sake of not boring you to death, there is basically a cave system with purple gigantic crystals full of (But rapidly decreasing) dark energy mana where upon the entering of a dark wolf, they will feel refreshed and replenished. Alphas, on their first night as Alphas will journey with the betas to the cave system, called The Nightshade (Yes I know this is totally and completely based off the Mothermouth from Warriors ) There are the hills and mountains that border The Hollow Claws from the Silver Fire Pack. It is called the ‘Crescent Hills’ and once you get past the hills, you reach hilly woodlands, the Silver Fire pack territory. There are several swampy, marshy lands near the base of the large, mountain like Crescent Hills. Like the Tar Pits, they have been known to suck in and drown unsuspecting wolves traveling between the territories. As for the Crescent Hills, The Scarlet Prowlers inhabit the Crescent Hills and like to ambush light and dark wolves. There are also Badgers, foxes and several predatory birds such as eagles, hawks and falcons. Mother wolves have to be careful when protecting her pups especially in this inhospitable land.
The climate is always warm and in summer can get very hot out. There are small ponds and a river that cuts almost directly in the middle of the plains. This can be a hot spot for several animals in drought season (Think of watering holes in Africa) The river, called the Silent Shadows River winds and then passes through the Crescent Hills towards the west and ends in a water fall and creates a lake on the Silver Fire territory. It can be especially dangerous for young wolves and pups trying to cross. It can be malicious with fast, unpredictable currents that can sweep away pups and drown them. It is a good source for fishing. It also attracts prey and is a good spot for hunting.
Silver Fire Pack
The all light wolf pack, notable for it's strict procedures and enduring traditions. It is one of the oldest packs and respects honor, nobility, and strict discipline. It currently has the edge against The Hollow Claws. Its long time reigning Alpha, Gywr, and his Alphaess, Aurora, lead the pack. They are one of the most renowned and successful Alphas in the pack’s history. They have two daughters, Abner, and Helena, and one son, Ignatius. Abner is destined to become the next Alphaess and Ignatius the Alpha (In this case they are not mates) Helena’s future is undetermined. The Betas are allot like a council, or like a roman senate. They will veto decisions and they all have to agree on major decisions by the alphas in order for them to act on it. It is highly organized. Like The Hollow Claws, there is a certain caste system to it.
Ranks of Silver Fire Pack:
Beta(Second in charge)
Theta(medics): Light wolves have the capability to heal. There are only a few and they are often irritable and tired but have good bedside manners.
Omega(Lowest of the low)
The Silver Fire is an old, even some may say, ancient pack. They follow laws and traditions to the letter. All wolves have to mate wolves the same ranking they are, no exceptions to this rule. They follow the same laws for light x dark wolf matings and grey wolves. It is one of the only things the Silver Fire and The Hollow Claws agree on. Males and female wolves mutually agree on being mates, there is no really decider on who mates who. Challenges for ranking are quite rare indeed but follow the same procedures as The Hollow Claws. light wolves as a whole hate fighting with each other and see it as petty to squabble for ranking. light wolves are harsh towards outsiders and are cold and even cruel sometimes, especially to Omegas. They will never let an Omega forget what they did to deserve their ranking. Silver Fire doesn't take jokes lightly and most of the wolves are arrogant and vain. They refuse to admit when they are wrong. They are very prideful of themselves. Males and females can achieve the same ranking and are expected to perform the same roles without any difference. They have the same den layout as The Hollow Claws.
They live past the Crescent Hills and in lush, hilly woodlands. They hunt deer, moose, sheep, goats, rabbits, etc. The Silent Shadows River formed a lake on their territory. The Lake is called Native Dancer Lake. It is also a great spot for fishing, though many wolves consider it too holy to fish in. Old Koi fish swim in the pond and the lightwolves sometimes seek their advice and meditate. Important meetings and ceremonies are held here and there is a temple made out of white quartz where the new alpha and alphaess and betas come. They come on the first full moon of their new rank. light crystals shine and form a circle around the lake, which are full (But are rapidly decreasing) of lightmana. light wolves feel replenished when they enter the vicinity of the crystals and often energetic and slap happy. There is a great old Oak tree which is rumored to be the father of the forest. The main light wolf camp is here, where the wolves make dens beneath the immense roots and sleep in the gigantic branches. The tree is called Grandfather Oak. And, on the highest peak of Crescent Hill, there is a stone structure that was man made several decades ago. Many wolves disdain this place and avoid it at all costs, but others are curious enough to venture out and try and solve the mysteries that lie there.
The Scarlet Prowlers Tribe
Besides the two packs, there is a Gray wolf Tribe, called The Scarlet Prowlers. Known for their stealthy ways, they make themselves home in the depths of the Crescent Hills. The Gray Wolves are as tough as the the terrain they reside on, and tolerate no light or dark wolves. Most are embittered Gray wolves who were harassed and picked on in the two packs and left their pack, seeking a vengeance against them. The Scarlet Prowlers usually lead ambushes on dark and light wolf pack sites or whenever they travel through the crescent hills. They often try to convince other Gray wolves to join their cause and often take pity on the Gray wolves who are still in dark and light wolf packs, claiming they still hang on to a pack that doesn't appreciate them.
The Scarlet Prowlers won't outright attack another Gray wolf, seeing them as kin but they hold no resentments and often see it as honorable even, to attack light, dark and mixed wolves.
The current leader of The Scarlet Prowlers is the powerful she-wolf Imifza. She has no mate. She has proven to be a deadly opponent in combat and holds onto to The Scarlet Prowlers ideals with her life. She is cunning and daring, but not outright bold unless the odds are in her favor. Her great-grandmother started The Scarlet Prowlers pack and she makes sure to enforce all standards and ideals of The Scarlet Prowlers in order to convince her followers of results in this difficult time of change.
Ranks of The Scarlet Prowlers Tribe:
Subordinates (wolves without rank)
The Gray wolves value nature very much, one could argue even more than the Light and Dark wolves do. They live off the land much more than the other types of wolves do since they have no magic. A lot of their traditions and customs are different from the light and dark wolf packs, having a whole host of animal spirits they believe in.
Very spiritual, these wolves believe in different forest spirits. They don't follow after what the light and dark wolf pantheon with Lenore and Tynan. As such with their reverence to nature, they are often on better terms with animals other than wolves, even learning to speak their tongue.
Some Forest Spirits they believe in include:
Para the Weasel: Para is depicted as a larger than average Weasel. She is deeply admired and many make sure to respect her. Her domain is Spring, Rythm and Celebration. She is thought of as being individualistic and curious. Many wolves leave gifts as token to their devotion towards her.
Cyrena the Rat: Cyrena is depicted as a rat with light, lavander colored fur and is often shown clutching a large orb in her tail. She is considered very mysterious but is highly esteemed for her knowledge and wisdom she imparts on others, leading many wolves to embrace her, despite her covert and disturbing ways. is a deeply esteemed and hugely embraced goddess. Her domain is Knowledge, Guidence, and the Rain.
Gorena the Hound: Gorena is depicted as a large black hound with golden, unflinching eyes and smoke rolling out of her mouth. She is greatly idolized and obeyed, if out of fear. Company, Night, Thunder, and Vengance are under her domain. She is seen as stern and venomous, having a great temper, but can also have the great devotion and protection of a mother. Wolves make sacrifices to her on the nights of the full moon.
(There is more to The Scarlet Prowlers but right now it's under construction :P)
The foothills of the Cresent hills are battered by harsh winds and rains, causing most wolves to seek refuge in caves and caverns. There are several secret tunnel entrances that lead to a large network of connected cavern systems. One of the more notable details is that there is no magic deep in the Cresent hills. It is rumored that humans long ago came and mined up all the coal and as a by-product, removed all the mana from the area, as well as creating these caverns. The caverns are a perfect place to hold pack meetings as well as hold light and dark wolf prisoners since they can't use any magic.
There are now two powerful packs that dominate Mithweald. There is Alpha Gwyr, leader of the light wolves and there is Alpha Alhwin, leader of the dark wolves. Both are very powerful but neither is stronger than the other. There is also a rather small Tribe of grey wolves who have fluctuating leaders but they are notorious for the hatred of both light wolves and dark wolves. There have been several prophecies but none have been true. There is one recent prophecy that has all of Mithweald’s attention:
“The return of vitality
To a hollow land
On a grey wind’s night
When Lenore and Tynan
Give their blessings
Conceived in a fire
Five to behold
Dawn, Day, Dusk, Night
And the over-looked shadow
Of primal patience, an ancient artifact
They claim the energy
The Sun and the Moon
The death of one
And the renewal of another
As Tensions shrivel
The demand arises”
The words barely audible as the last words from a great dark wolf elder. Many had passed it off as delusional ramblings from a wolf close to death but several days later a solar eclipse happens in the middle of the day and in the night a lunar eclipse happens in exactly the middle of the night. The sun and the moon are considered Lenora as the Sun, and Tynan as the Moon. Then, to two completely ordinary grey wolves five pups are born, a lightpup, a mixed mostly lightpup, a grey pup, a mixed mostly dark wolf, and a dark pup. It was too late though, upon hearing the prophecy it was discovered the parents had to be grey wolves, who gave birth on a windy night in the same day as the eclipses. The parents were in a grey wolf Tribe with no tolerance and a hatred for both light and dark wolves. They would do anything to stop the prophecy as it is mostly interpreted as a sign that the pups would renew the mana source, saving the light and dark wolves. The father took the pups and after a long chase hid them in a mysterious ancient man made structure on the peak of Crescent Hills. Both parents were killed but seemingly enough the pups are rumored to still be alive. Is this true or just a mith?
Okay, are you still with me after this dreadfully long wall of text?
Cause there's more reading
Links and somesuch:
There's an old roleplay I made called The Wolves of Mithweald. It's set after this story arc, where there is no longer mana and the packs are different.
From what can de deduced, the Earthrunners are descendants of the Gray wolves, Icefangs are descendants of the light wolves, and Soulwalkers are descendants of the Dark wolves
This is not a necessary read but if you have time to kill here is the link (I haven't read through this roleplay in years): http://spiritanimals.scholastic.com/forums/topics/174811#post_2428179
Odds and Ends about the story
- The main protagonists are the wolf pups, there are three spots left. Get them while they're hot
^ Only one of those spots per person please
- Since I am writing a story, we also need background characters. Make as many of those as you'd like, please, I'd appreciate that
- The wolf pups have no clue about the prejudice of the wolves living outside their little bubble. As they have not left that crescent hill area.
- Saves last two days
- I will be posting a new chapter weekly, every Wednesday (not including this one)
- I may kill off any of these background wolf characters, you have been warned
- There should be more Dark and Light wolves, Gray and Mixed wolves are less common. If there are more Gray and Mixed wolves than what I would like, I reserve the right to turn your wolf into a Dark or Light wolf.
- Also, please delete the brackets in your forms
Light wolf pup
Mixed mostly light wolf pup
Gray wolf pup saved for Nugget
Mixed mostly dark wolf pup
Dark wolf pup
Any spots other than the ones with wolves that I've named (such as the alphas) of the two packs and the tribe are up for grabs!
The hardly mentioned Resistance is filled with all wolves and all spots are open on those! Spots are up for interpretation, as well as where they live. The Resistance is basically a blank slate for you all to make stuff for!
Forms of Death:
For the protagonists:
Name(note, the names are like fantasy names):
Fur Color, Texture, etc.(note, the light wolves are all white with light colored eyes, dark wolves are all black with dark colored eyes, gray wolves, I assume you can probably guess what they are):
Strengths (qualifies as character strengths and skills):
Flaws (read above):
Hopes (Not just 'to save the day!' mind you, is there anything in particular your character wants to accomplish?):
Fears (Can be random and irrational. I will have these show up in the story):
For background wolf characters:
