I glanced at Leesha, who had just defended herself from a boy trying to take her purse.
I smirked. "Geeze Leesha, no need to be so rude. Next time, give the kid a proper greeting." I held my hand out to him, and shook his hand. I then grabbed his shoudler and guided him away from her.
Glancing at Leesha, I leaned in and whispered against the boy's ear, "Nextt time, don't target her. Besides, I'm an orphan, (she thinks she's an orphan. I can't quite remember if she is or not.) and I'm not even that desperate." I then patted him on the back, and made my way to Leesha again. Expertly I started a conversation with her.
We talked and unknown to her, I was slipping my hand into her purse. She was so engaged in our conversation. I was standing shoulder to shoulder with her. I finished speaking, and held up the money I took.
"By the way, always keep something like your purse in your peripheral vision. That will help you not get pickpocketed." I then ran awya, and laughed as she chased after me.
