I burst out the car door the second we pulled up to the school, even before it had stopped moving. I hate long car rides. I need to get out and do something. It’ll have to wait until after the assembly, I’m already running late as it is. I think I have enough time to find my dorm, throw my belongings inside and run to the assembly. I looked at the size of the building. Well if people aren’t crowding the halls I can make it in plenty of time, but no matter how fast I am it doesn’t matter if there is no room to move. Instead I simply stretched out my body which had grown rather tense during the trip. I sighed, why am I so hot right now. I removed my long sleeved over shirt and tied it around my waist only leaving on my white tank top. Upon completing the task I turned to find the driver had already removed my suitcase from the car. I thanked him and quickly made my way up the stairs of the school. After asking around for a while, some how getting pulling into a arm wrestling match and a flexing competition, and then trying to help some second year “nerd” who got stuck in a garbage can after tripping over his own suitcase, I finally found my dorm room. Time since I arrived? Twelve minuets. I already know this is either going to be my best or worst decision of my life. I really didn’t pay the room much mind; I went to the empty bed, plopped my belongings down then ran out to try to find the assembly. But I think I took a wrong turn somewhere, I feel disoriented in a new place like this. I sighed, time to go ask for more directions, let’s hope I don’t have to do jump rope for information this time. At least I have more time than I thought I would.
