I sighed as I walked in to the large throne room of Hyrule Castle, which was were Link had fought Calamity in a pit hidden beneath the floor. The floor had been fixed by Bolson and his crew, and was better looking than it had been before the rise of Calamity. (I'm pretty sure that took thousands of Rupees. I wonder how much of his monster part collection Link had to sell to pay for it.) Zelda sat at her throne looking bored, and Link was by her side, Master Sword sheathed, also looking bored. I bet I looked bored too.
I curtsied to Zelda as best I could and walked over to my mentor.
"I brought you some food, sir." I said. Link really likes his food.
"The usual?" he asked with a smile.
"Of course, I don't have time for anything else with all the prep for the meeting going on."
"Thanks for the thought." he said.
"Any time." I replied. I then turned to Queen Zelda. "Your Majesty-"
"Shaily, could you just call me Zelda? Please? I'm really not used to all this formality having spent the past hundred years as a spirit trapped inside the Calamity." she said with a sigh.
"Alright then. I have spotted the Zora company entering the castle and sent Bolson down to greet them. There was one more then they said they were bringing, so I made a room for them."
"Great. Could you go and help train the new guards?"
"Link, you go with her."
"Of course, Your Majesty."
"LINK!" she exclaimed, amused. He ran out of the room with a laugh. I walked out with a smile on my face. I soon caught up to him.
"You two are going to make a great couple some day." I said. He just looked at me.
"MIPHA IS FINE WITH IT AND YOU KNOW IT. I ASKED HER." I said, exasparated.
"Fine with what?" asked a soft-spoken voice from down the hall.
"Mipha! You're visiting again so soon?" I asked.
"I settled the dispute in the Zora kingdom faster than expected." she told me. Mipha died in her Divine Beast during the rise of the Calamity, but her spirit still hangs around. I was friends with her and Urbosa from the moment we met. Daruk and I are on pretty good terms. Revali? Not so much.
"I was telling Link you're fine with him being with Zelda."
She turned to him. "Link. I'm dead. YOU NEED TO MARRY SOMEONE EVENTUALLY OR WE HAVE NO CHANCE AGAINST THE CALAMITY WHEN HE RETURNS."
He sighed. "I'm not ready."
"You are such an idiot sometimes. Let's get down to the courtyard." I told him.
