The world has been separated into four dimensions for as long as anyone can remember-- bar humans, which brings us into our first realm.
The humans go about their lives thinking they are alone in their conscious minds, sharing their advanced intellect with only their kin. And although very wrong in their view of the world as being the only creatures with will and viewing all others as supposedly having that as fantasy, they are rather gifted in the technology area. The overpowering forces believe they have dominion over all like-minded souls-wrong again, which brings us to the second realm.
The inhabitants of the second realm range from fairies to mermaids to "civilized centuars" (Centuars who choose to live with second-realm creatures instead of third-realm creatures) and everything in between. They usually look more or less human with oddities and different powers, with a few exceptions. They aren't as advanced in technology, remaining by torches for lighting.
The inhabitants of the third realm are the more animal-like creatures. Some centuars and merpeoples also choose to live here. Unlike the first-realm animals, they have conscious, human-like thoughts. Many of the fourth-realm creatures are these.
The fourth-realm creatures are the evil ones, banished here with their like, forever to wander in exile. The creatures here are from each realm. Humans are only sent here if they posess traces of magic.
Of course, there are also misplaced creatures throughout the realms, many responsible for "monster sightings" throughout the first realm.
Normal roleplay rules

Your character can be anything as long as it conforms to its realm. If it is a wanderer, than its "home realm."
We don't need 7-paragraph gender sections alone. Your form shouldn't take up the whole page, but it also can't be like 2 words in your personality.
