I was at Karate one Wednesday, the day before a big band concert. I could have been in advanced class, but that night I chose to go to intermediate, because all my friends are there and I'm a green belt, which is borderline.
So on to my moment. We were kicking the punching bag, while my two friends and I were talking about the concert and kicking. Sensei told us to be quiet a couple of times, but we kinda kept talking, because 1) Karate was kicking, and we were talking about kicking 2) We were talking about bands and the concert, and his other job is a musician.
After a few minutes, we switched to doing our katas, and Sensei said, "You know, it's really nice when the green belts do this, because the green belts NEVER talk."
And my friends and I looked at each other, like "Right, the green belts ABSOLUTELY NEVER talk."
So that's mine. What's your guys'?
