Why? Why can someone say they like/love something but can't say they hate/dislike it?
Because it offends the fans? Well it might offend the people who don't like it if someone says they like/love a series.
Method? Yes I'll agree method plays a part in this. But still, some of the people saying they like/love something go just as crazy as some of the people who dislike/hate something.
Dose it hurt me to hear someone hates/dislikes Transformers or Ninja Turtles, or Star Trek? No. Not unless they are opinion sniping (Example: I hate Transformers and anyone who dose is a hopeless nerd. Mods I don't actually mean that I'm just giving an example.) But if they just say "I hate Transformers" or "Ugh I can't stand Transformers. It's everywhere!" Or some other non-sniping way... then I don't care.
I have the right to say what I dislike just as much as I have the right to say what I like.
So does everyone else.
