GlacierClan live in the harsh north lands. The territory is treacherous and freezing. A large glacier runs through their territory. This glacier is called the Great Glacier, and it is far too wide to leap across. All cats must take the Glacier Passage (a large tunnel running right under the glacier, dug out by the first GlacierClan cats) to reach the hunting grounds. The camp is a network of icy tunnels that all lead to a large, underground hollow. There are caverns carved out into the walls for the various dens. The leader addresses the Clan from a large hill made out of firm snow. The leader's den is a hole right beneath the Snowhill, that is safely hidden from any attackers. GlacierClan's camp is very difficult to attack and the confusing network of ice tunnels have defended the cats inside for moons.
GlacierClan cats typically have thick, insulating fur to keep out the icy winds. Their pelt colours range from pale gray to pure, snow white. Markings are uncommon, but when marked cats do occur, they are usually lilac point siamese or lynx point siamese. The cats have toughened paw pads for walking in the treacherous conditions. Eye colours are mostly blues and greys, but a very rare hazel or brown may happen. Ears are usually small to keep heat in.
GlacierClan cats are strategists. They never meet their enemies head-on, but always plan to observe their battle moves and turn the skills against them. They don't have much muscle underneath all the fur, but they are agile, quick, clever and excel at getting out of tight corners.
Battle Moves (quite a few of these are my original moves, please do not steal)
Dizzy Charge: This is a move favoured by GlacierClan. Charge at the enemy, but leap to the side at the last moment. Then roll under them and flip them over.
Frozen Drop: This move requires some ice and a high place. Climb and drop down on your enemy. Hopefully the ice will crack under both of your weights. Jump to a safe place while your enemy is safely in the water.
Double Death Bite: This move is considered dishonourable and should only be used on evil cats. You and a partner both bite an enemy's throat. A well-aimed Double Death Bite will almost definitely kill them.
Snowy Ambush: Requires snow. All warriors cover themselves in snow and watch the enemy patrol. When they reach desired point, all warriors jump out and attack.
Four-Paw Pin: Once you have pinned your opponent, stand on all of their paws so you are not vulnerable to Belly Rake or Power Kick.
Belly Rake: Once you are pinned down, rake opponent's belly with forepaws. This will hopefully get them off you and you can attack more.
Power Kick: Once you are pinned down, kick opponent's belly with hind paws. This will leave them winded and vulnerable to further attacks.
Glacier Chase: This can only be used near glaciers. Run away to a glacier and cover yourself in snow. Hopefully your opponents will run after you and fall into the glacier. Sometimes considered dishonourable, use sparingly.
Corner Escape: Once you are battled into a corner, dive under your opponent's legs and knock them off balance by hooking forpaws around their ankles.
Not at Home: All warriors retreat into the dens as the attackers enter the camp. Warriors stealthily creep out and attack. Kits, elders and small apprentices must be kept hidden.
When the many Clans came to their lands, GlacierClan took a while to choose their territory. None of the lands fitted their physical attributes, so they bravely set out into unexplored territory. The north lands were perfect for them. They named each landmark and memorized all of their beloved hunting grounds. But they were missing one thing: a camp.
GlacierClan spent many sunrises digging out the tunnels and the underground hollow. Pleased with the final product, they collected eagle feathers for their nests, since they didn't have soft moss for the dens. For this, they earned their reputation for working well with the harshest of places.
Glacier Cavern was found by the leader of ancient GlacierClan. He was a cunning cat named Frozen River. Frozen River was the first cat who dared to explore the Great Glacier. A hole that was just big enough for a cat to fit into was found next to the ice river, so he tunneled into a strange, mystical cavern.
A large crystal of ice was sat in the middle of the cavern. It emitted a curious, pale blue light that made cats see visions. Frozen River consulted the Healer, Dawn Mist, who looked at the cavern with him. They were both told by StarClan that GlacierClan was meant to live in that land.
Thus, GlacierClan was founded and the Glacier Cavern discovered.
