1) Sorry if this sounds rude, but you shouldn't have a boyfriend at such a young age. It's a special thing. Literally, boyfriends are a HUGE step and I think that 10 is too young for such a big step but who am I to judge?
2) I was in a "relationship" once. Communication is key. No communication and *poof* you're done for. I did not utilize this tool and it was much more stressful than it needed to be. He was holding my hand and stuff the first day. At first, I was super excited but he did it. Every. Single. Day. And I was too nervous to tell him no and I quickly lost interest and it ended in some tears. Oh, and it wasn't me who cried them.
Oh, I actually have 4 things.
3) Never ditch your friends for a boy. Because if you two break it off and you've already ignored all your friends, there's not gonna be a single soul left to help you out during the rough times.
4) Make sure this guy's actually worth your time. If he's mean or judgemental, he doesn't need you to help him feel better. Take it from me. The guy above, well, three days after I broke off our "thing" he went and told me he didn't like me. Three more days later and he was crushing on my best friend. Don't let him skip around. He needs to stay grounded and take this relationship seriously.
Take-Home Lesson: You're too young, in my opinion, but it's your choice. Never ditch your friends, never fail to communicate, and never date someone who isn't worth your time.
