Spirit Animals is what has gotten me through the last few years, ever since the first book was released and I picked it up at my local bookstore. It holds so many memories for me, some good, some bad.
The bookstore that I got the first book at no longer exists anymore, instead making way for a Target and that place was one of my favorite places in the world when I was little. Spirit Animals, both the forums and the books, have been my escape from reality when my parents were arguing or my dad was dealing with his depression. I own every book that has ever come out and every time a book has been released, I grab some money, grab my mom, and drive to the nearest bookstore to buy it and that's what I have been doing ever since 2013. Spirit Animals is a beautiful series and it's meant the world to me for the last four years.
I love everything about the books, the bond between animals and humans which I find so beautiful, the energy of the characters (all of which I can relate to), and the fast-moving, incredibly super accelerating plot.
The books mean the world to me and I don't know what I would be like without them. (Probably an anit-social wreck who plays Minecraft xD)
The authors of Spirit Animals are my true heroes and I love everyone here and in the books themselves so much.
Much love, Rachel! You'll be part of my sig to remember you and you will always hold a special spot in our hearts as part of Scholastica and SAMBria.
Also, if you read this, Rachel, what are you going to do now that you're leaving Scholastic? What kind of job will you be having? We wish you the best of luck in whatever you do!
