"Thank you, Vanessa." said one male. "If you could, Alex." he added. A taller male in the back with dark brown hair and darker brown eyes and glasses nodded. I was then handed from the female, Vanessa, to Alex and led into a smaller grey all-stone room with two chairs. He closed the door and locked it behind him. He must be a little slow... But why can't I hear him? I turned to him. Suprisingly, he undid the straightjacket, replacing it with handcuffs that tighten as you struggle. Alex sat and gestured, a little force in his glare, for me to sit down in the other chair. So I did, returning the glare.
After perhaps a minute of dead silence, Alex spoke. "What do you believe." he asked, but his tone sounded like a statement.
"Nothing." I said. I studied him for a minute, noticing the small silver cross necklace hanging around his neck. I chuckled. "Christian, I see."
Alex smiled slightly, then it was gone. " Yes. Now, do you know why are were transferred here?"
"Murder and scientist curiosity. My race." I answered.
His eyes flickered with hungriness for a second behind the black glasses he wore. "Yes. Any intentions here?"
"Not here, exactly, no." I replied.
I watched as it was his turn to study me. "What's in your pockets?" he asked.
"Nothing." I said, feeling defensive. In my pockets, I kept a BFF necklace my only love gave to me, and a slightly burned picture of her... She was human. And the only one I care about. I felt the temperature of my skin rise. They took my dagger.
Alex studied my face. "Alright. You'll now be experimented on a little. Enjoy your stay at the Santuary."
"Irony much?" I scoffed under my breath. Alex pushed up his glasses, making them glint in the somewhat dim light. He then stood up, grabbed both the jacket and me, and pushed me out the door.
"How was it?" asked the male that ordered Alex.
"Check the security camera footage. I'll explain after this one leaves." said Alex, pushing me into a room where the wall facing the humans was glass. There were different little objects in there, including a thermometer, a single metal chair with steel bands on them for arms and legs, and a camera. Alex strapped me into the chair and left the room.
Please let this through!
