I swam with ease, enjoying every minute of it. I had never seen a large amount of water, let alone swam in it. There were a few horseshoe crabs at the bottom, so I grabbed them and threw them up to the sand. "You said you found one?"
"No wonder they didn't let you in the water!" Ronan blurted. I looked at him, confused. "Sorry, but have you looked at yourself recently?"
I looked down at my hands, which were currently covered in blue scales. I cried out, immediately taking a few steps back into the water. I knew what I looked like, and I didn't like it. My eyes were back to that color, and now that I felt my cheek I knew that the water had soaked off the fabric. "Wanna throw those to me, Ryan? I'll just take care of them in here."
