Honestly, time seemed to be going in slow motion for me as I knew the creature would be coming down at me. I knew what had happened; I had somehow been stunned. But on the brighter note, now I could know the creature’s attacks, and what kind of creature it was, anyways. The stunning effect was wearing off relatively fast, and probably because I had dealt with quite a few creature attacks in my time.
The creature, apparently, had waited in a branch to ambush me. It probably had an attack coming from its mouth which could stun—fumes or vapor, maybe? It also had more heads than one, as proved by its fact it tried to corner me with that very technique, and probably large claws and fangs as well, since one of those claws were coming towards me at that very second. I threw myself to the side with all my might, then smiled when I realized that the effect had worn off already.
I stood up, and then turned around and grinned. “The game’s over for you,” I told it.
