*cracks knuckles* It's my time to shine.
-Never be afraid to talk to new people! You'll find lots of people with your same interests and that's great!
-High school, especially, is a very cliquey place. You'll stick to your group, but it doesn't mean you can't talk to people outside or your clique.
-Don't worry about popularity.
-Avoid drama. It's better to not start drama with toxic people in the first place. Just drift away from the toxic people. You might not know who's toxic when you're going to a new school, but this is why you should acquaint everyone before you become friends with them. It's harder to drift away from friends.
-Put schoolwork AND friends first. It's good to have a balance between both.
-Ask for help if you get lost. Around 1% of people will laugh at you.
-After the third day, you probably won't get lost anymore.
-In the beginning of the year, if there are group projects, don't worry if you get left out. The teacher might put you in a group with people you don't know, and they don't know you either! Be friendly, and they'll be friendly as well!
