@Fafnir Well, what you just said could really insult some people, especially those who are Americans or have family who are loyal Americans. I guess all we can really say from another point of view is what we think personally, not the truth. I mean, I'm not going to say America's that great, but every country has room for improvement, and it has its impacts on what the world is today now.
In some weird way, for me, opinion about this is like religion. We can't really see the truth of it from the past, the present, or in the future. There's really no definite "right" or "wrong", or "good" and "bad". It's always some combination, or some point on the continuum. It's never really able to be determined, nonetheless correctly determined.
Sorry for seemingly making a speech again; this just really reminded me of this YouTube video I saw threatening to nuke China. Below in the comments section was a lot of threats and biased views about how China was the villain in everything, and everything that's wrong about China. But China has its rights and wrongs, and "goods" and "bads" as well. It's just that some people, such as those in the comments section, neglected to recognize that. I think it's the same for America in this case, and I hope everyone can hold as much of an open view as they can.
Thanks for being so open and sharing your opinion with us! I keep forgetting to summon you for this, Fafnir, but you're straightforward and honest, and I find those traits admirable and amazing.
